Healthcare

Social Care
Social care is about supporting people to maintain their independence and providing personal and practical support to help people live their lives.
Roles could include supporting someone with a range of disabilities, dementia or mental health conditions. You could be working in a care home.
Primary Care
Primary care services provide the first point of contact in the health care system, and include general practice, community pharmacy, dental, and optometry services.
Services are delivered in a wide range of settings – including in people’s own homes as well as in community clinics.

Contraception and sexual health services are delivered in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Peterborough and Suffolk; and in Luton, we are proud to deliver compassionate care for adults and older people in their own home, helping to avoid hospital admissions. Our community dental and musculoskeletal/pelvic physiotherapy are delivered from multiple rural and urban sites across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, with our world renowned Oliver Zangwill Centre for Psychological Neuro-rehabilitation taking pride of place in the City of Ely. EAST OF ENGLAND AMBULANCE SERVICE
East of England Ambulance Service provides 24/7 accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. They also provide non-emergency patient transport services to all those who can’t travel unaided, because of medical conditions or frailty.
